I spent years attending countless events and trade shows during my time at IBM, Google, Uber, and Insight.
Every time, the same thing would happen. I'd meet incredible people, have high-intent conversations, and leave the event energised.
But the moment I got back to my desk the next day, reality kicked in. Context from each conversation had faded, deadlines from ongoing projects were waiting, and the list of leads from the booth would arrive days later in a spreadsheet.
